Suicide case brings questions regarding Apple's business dealings in China
Currently, Chinese police are investigating the alleged suicide of 25-year-old Sun Danyong. Danyong worked for the Foxconn, the world's largest electronics manufacturer whose clients include Apple and was personally responsible for the shipment of 16 4G IPhone prototypes to Apple. However, when the shipment arrived, only 15 were there.
As a result, Sun Danyong was subjected to intense questioning about the missing prototype. Then, last week, Danyong died as a result of a fall from his apartment window. So far, it is believed that he committed suicide but, police have not yet ruled out murder in this case, either.
Regardless of how he died, his death brings more questions about Apple's dealings in China. In the past, Apple has come under scrutiny for Foxconn's treatment of workers on the iPod assembly line
