Disney buys Marvel

This is less tech and more geek but, today, it was announced that Disney has purchased Marvel Entertainment for a cool $4 billion (a mixture of cash and stock to Marvel shareholders).
In the deal, Disney now owns the rights to over 5,000 Marvel characters.
