DJ Hero is a long overdue game (okay, to be fair, there was Beatmania). For those not familiar with this game, you are likely aware of games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The idea of those games is to hit certain "notes" or certain beats in time with the visual cues given by the game. Your ability to do so gets you a more favorable rating from the computer-based crowd and allows you to advance in the game.
In DJ Hero, you trade the guitar and use a turntable as your weapon of choice for rocking the crowd.
The game is set to arrive in October but we are already getting a peek at some of the hardware coming out.
The most recent (and expensive) kit announced is the Renegade Edition, endorsed by Jay-Z and Eminem.

The Renegade Edition will contain the turntable pictured above, which is all-black with a gold knob and a gold cross-fader. In addition, it has a carry case that changes into a performance stand. Also, the kit comes with a 2-CD set of Jay-Z and Eminem tracks. Of course, you get the game, too.
The cost is expected to be $120+ .
Given the price, I don't know how popular it will be. Nonetheless, it's cool to see efforts made to bring an authentic-looking DJ game for home consoles.
